About Me

Simran Arora Aggarwal – Founder of The Tiny Twigs

I am a psychologist and parenting coach with a deep passion for helping families thrive. This curiosity has led me to study psychology, but it is my work with parents and children that truly brings everything to life.

Over the years, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, stress, behavioral challenges, emotional regulation, and the everyday complexities of raising children. Through this work, I have seen one truth again and again: parents are doing the best they can with the tools they have. My mission is to help expand those tools with insight, compassion, and practical strategies that actually work in real life.

Parenting is one of the most meaningful roles we will ever hold, yet it does not come with a manual. It can be beautiful and joyful, but also overwhelming and filled with self doubt. In a world full of conflicting advice and unrealistic expectations, many parents feel pressure to get everything right. I believe parenting is not about perfection. It is about connection, consistency, and growth.

As both a psychologist and a parenting coach, I focus on helping parents understand the why behind their child’s behavior, while also developing clear, respectful, and effective approaches to discipline, communication, and emotional support. I believe that when parents feel confident and regulated, children benefit in profound ways.

My approach is rooted in empathy and science. I value emotional intelligence, secure attachment, and the long term goal of raising resilient, self aware children. I also understand that every family is unique. Culture, personality, life experiences, and daily stressors all shape the parenting journey. There is no one size fits all solution. Instead, I aim to offer guidance that you can adapt to fit your own values and family dynamic.

Through this blog, I hope to create a supportive space where psychology meets practical parenting. You will find insights on child development, emotional regulation, communication skills, boundaries, behavior management, and self care for parents. My goal is to translate psychological research into simple, actionable ideas you can use immediately.

Most importantly, I want you to feel understood here. Parenting can feel isolating at times, but you are not alone. Growth is possible for both you and your child. With the right tools, support, and mindset, families can build stronger connections and healthier patterns that last a lifetime.

Thank you for being here. I look forward to growing alongside you
